Indy Style Segment

I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on Indy Style to showcase some must have products for summer. This was my first "live TV" appearance. Unless you count the time the sewer blew up under my car, which I don't, so let's move on… Naturally, I walked into the studio pretty nervous. As I'm talking to a producer, I look up to see my mom sitting in one of the host's chairs pretending to be interviewed. I literally stood in pure shock for a solid 30 seconds. You can always count on my mom to liven up any moment!

Take a peak below for outfit details, the 411 on my new fav jewelry boutique and see how you can win some amazing hair care products.

Jacket: Forever 21. Shirt: Nicki Minaj. Skirt: Forever 21(similar).
With or without the jacket? Do you have a preference?

Necklace: ShinyMix
This is my first attempt with the color block trend. It's a little outside my comfort zone, but now that I stepped out I don't plan to go back!

Shoes: Charlotte Russe (similar)
I LOVE THESE SHOES. I get it, they're a little "in your face" so they aren't for everyone. I literally just bought them, but I can't find them online so you might be able to find them in a store near you!

Neckalace: ShinyMix (similar)
Let me just say ShinyMix jewelry is amazing!! It it my new "go to shop" for jewelry. This piece I'm wearing is sold out, but don't fret they have countless beautiful options!

Hair Care Line: Design Essentials

Our World Boutique, a girl's best friend!

Life is expensive. You have to buy amazing shoes, purses in different colors, skinny jeans, maxi dresses and the list goes on. Then if you have money left over you buy luxury items like groceries and gas. Ugh. This is why I love stores that offer amazingly cute clothes at prices that allow me to, at least, purchase protein bars. So ladies, let me introduce you to Our World Boutique... Cute clothes at affordable prices. A girl's best friend!

This shirt is from Our World Boutique and currently on clearance for only $12.99! I wanted to show you it both casual and dressy. It would also look adorable with simply a pair of shorts. It's a staple shirt for spring and summer! Also, head over to Our World Boutique now and you can get 30% off jewelry with promo code SPRINGSPARKLE.

Shirt: Our World Boutique, Bracelet: Our World Boutique

Um... This is my awkward pose. This is how NOT to take a picture.

When it rains 24/7 in Indiana, I am forced to take photos inside my home.

Tomorrow morning I leave for Cabo. Follow me on Instagram for more frequent fashion updates! www.instagram.com/fASHionatelyMe or search fASHionatelyMe

My Aztec Love Affair

I have a small confession to make... as I'm posting the last of my Hazel and Olive boutique features (for now), my shopping cart on their website is incredibly full. As soon as I press "submit order", I'm giving up my ability to go to the grocery until my next paycheck. Worth it? Absolutely! This gorgeous skirt is from Hazel and Olive. Have I mentioned they have free shipping? Also, they're constantly adding new items to their website - so you need to be checking daily! If you're spring break shopping, or just shopping for life, you need to do it at Hazel and Olive.

Spring Fashion Tip: Get a cream blazer! I promise you, you'll wear it all spring and summer long.

Skirt: Hazel and Olive (similar), Blazer: Lauren Conrad, Necklace: Our World Boutique

I LOVE this aztec pattern. You're going to see this all through the fall season!

Pantone Spring 2014 Colors: Hemlock

I love when Pantone reveals their Color of the Year. *Gasp* You don't know what that is? Let me help... Each year Pantone choses one color to be the Color of the Year, you'll see it trending throughout the year - everywhere from fashion runways to the big screen. Last year's color was Emerald. Think: Oz the Great and Powerful (all about the Emerald City), it was the third most popular bridesmaid dress color (according to weddingwire.com) and it was seen on nearly every red carpet. In addition to the Color of the Year (Yes, that's definitely a term that deserves capitalization out of pure respect!) Pantone releases a seasonal color pallet previewing the colors that will be popular. I am absolutely LOVING the Spring 2014 colors. So, over the course of the next month(ish), I'm going to help you prepare for spring by finding some fashionable ways to wear Pantone's 2014 Spring Colors. Let's start with one of my favorites, Hemlock.

I had to have this adorable Hemlock Kimono from Hazel and Olive. Sad day for you, they're sold out BUT I found an adorable replacement. As always, you're welcome. PS Don't forget they have FREE shipping.

Tip: Sheer jackets or sweaters double as cute swimsuit cover ups! Remember summer?

I chose a soft color pallet for this outfit to play up the femininity of the kimono.
Isn't that word fun to say? Kimono. Kimono. Kimono.

Hazel & Olive, love one click away.

My friends and family love telling me to browse online dating sites so I can find my Price Charming. According to them, the love of my life is just a click away! While I appreciate everyone's intense desire to see me walk down the aisle, I'm just a little busy right now. I'm busy browsing for the perfect online boutique! This, I believe, is definitely just a few clicks away. After all, I can't get a man if I'm not fabulously dressed, right? Right! While looking for the perfect online boutique, I’ve learned some tips to help you before making your next online purchase. I’m still clueless on what to look for in man (apparently I shouldn't get wrapped up in his adorable loafers or mesmerizing smile), but I think I've mastered figuring out if an online retailer is one you can trust.

So here are my tips for finding the perfect online boutique:

#1. Shipping is a silent killer! Many boutiques showcase their great pricing or their Fabulous Friday 50% off sale (I just made that up, pretty cute right?), so you fall in love with your items to find that $15 sweater is shipping straight to your door for $14.95. Umm... No. Not happening.

#2. Just because you buy it from a boutique doesn’t mean it’s unique. There are so many boutiques that carry the exact same clothes, so make sure your boutique has rare items (understanding there are bound to be overlaps).

#3. Take my advice! I’ve rated boutiques in the past, and I will continue to do so. My advice for you now is to shop HazelandOlive.com.

Say hello to Hazel & Olive and FREE SHIPPING! My next three fashion posts will be about this store, you're going to fall in love just like I did. Tip: their clothing fits pretty true to size, however, if you're in-between sizes order up.

Top: Hazel and Olive

This top is only $25 and the GORGEOUS necklace is a part of the top.

I paired this top with skinny jeans and heels. Peplum tops are great ways to accent your waist. They're incredibly feminine and chic. I wasn't sure I'd like one on me, and now I'm obsessed. It's the perfect top to wear if you're going out on Friday night... Apparently it's some national holiday people celebrate??

Girls Wear Camo Too

The moment my uncle saw me in this shirt, he asked when my episode of Duck Dynasty would air. Hilarious. Whatever, I said it before and I'll say it again - whenever a guy makes fun of a girl's outfit it's likely incredibly fashionable.

In order to tame down the fact that I'm twinning with Phil (hello, I just referenced Duck Dynasty), I decided to add an über feminine necklace. It's not typical, but that's what I love about it. I like wearing outfits that take a second glance to realize you like it. Of course I finished this off with some gorgeous wedges from Dottie Cotoure Boutique. This is a boutique in my home town Indy, but you can also buy online. I love this boutique because even with the increased amount of online boutiques Dottie is able to keep their clothes unique. Try them out, they're definitely a seller I trust and love!

My shirt and necklace were both gifts, but I think I found pretty good matches for you. :) Check out my last picture to see how my adorably, hott cousin styled the same necklace. Yet again, we unknowingly purchased the same piece but styled it completely different!

Camo Shirt: Similar at Forever 21

Necklace: Similar from Etsy Clutch: Tory Burch

One of the many things I love about my cousin, is that we have the same taste but our style is very different. Visit her blog tomorrow to see more ways to style this necklace!
