ABOUT ME

Born and raised in small towns of Indiana, my heart belongs to the country but my shoes belong in the city. I currently live in beautiful downtown Indianapolis and I love to take runway fashion and make it midwest chic. I think fashion is a beautiful way to express yourself. Getting dressed in the morning becomes exciting when you stop dressing for other people and you dress only for you.

Fashion isn't the only love in my life; I’m a devout Christian who loves Jesus with all my heart. I live and breathe to serve Him. I believe Christianity isn't about religion, it’s about relationship. You can read your Bible every day and still not know the who Jesus is. After Jesus, comes my family. My Momma is my best friend and I’m a Daddy’s girl at heart. I have two younger brothers who I don’t think will ever know how much I love them and how much they mean to me. I was finally blessed with a sister when my brother married one of the most amazing women I've ever met! My big, fat, Greek (and the non-Greeks) family is one of the reasons I’m always smiling. Few greater feelings exist than your younger cousins running to hug you. And of course, I couldn’t survive without my friends. I have two best friends that mean the world to me (yes you, Randall and Molly) and an amazing group of close friends that make me love life even more.

I love running, I typically run at least a half marathon each year. Running is the best way to clear my head and keep my Greek donk in check. I love country music, the 7th inning of a baseball game, sitting courtside at NBA games and the smell of a freshly cut fairway. I don't like spiders, negative people and cargo shorts. I’m passionate about purity and waiting (yes, abstaining) for the man God has for me. Until he arrives, I enjoy blogging about being single and a virgin. If you can’t make fun of yourself, are you really living life?

That’s it, that’s me in a nut shell. If you made it all the way through, thank you – you officially made me feel special.
