Mixing textures and patterns is a great way to be edgy yet classy. My shorts have a floral pattern "texture" that I paired with my floral shirt. When it comes to stacking bracelets, mix it up! I have pearl bracelets mixed with solid gold and "sparkle" bracelets. And as Tierra, from the Bachelor, says - don't let anyone take away your sparkle!

I'm OBSESSED with this hair tie. Can't see it? It's the purple "bracelet". Finally, ladies, we can wear a hair tie on our wrist that's actually cute! Plus they actually work, it's holding up my ponytail in these pictures!
It's probably safe to say, that nearly every girl remembers
Jessica Simpson’s high-waist jean fail. They were the “mom jeans” heard around
the World. While I love Miss Simpson’s style, those jeans weren't her best fashion
decision. On a side note, I think photographer who took that photo should be
ashamed. Any girl who weighs over 100 pounds can’t withstand the dreaded
“upward angle” photo. Clearly, that photo was taken by a man or jealous woman. Anyways... back
the point! Today I’m going to help you discover what high-waist bottoms will flatter your frame. (Side note: let's get real about our figures, ladies. Don’t
let my advice offend you, I’m only trying to help. After all, I’m the first
person to make fun of my Greek booty.)
Petites Princess - Lucky for you, you don’t have much to
worry about. (Except that no one likes you. I kid, calm
down!) Because of your small figure you, can really play with this trend. Try my
favorite for spring/summer, floral or patterned shorts. You’ll be the envy

Curvy Ladies - If you’re curvy, usually, your butt
to waist ratio is “unique”. If you have curves learn to embrace and love
them, I’m learning to love my
permanent seat cushion. To accent curves find a "thicker" material to help smooth your curves. Stay away from curve hugging silk shorts or you're asking for
trouble. Example: Forever 21
Few Extra Pounds Beauties - Be cautious of
where the waist hits you. If you carry weight in your tummy, but have a small waist, go with a super, high-waist skirt. This allows your slim waist to be your focal point and skims over the rest of you. Example: Forever 21
Adorable Athletic - Two words: long pants. Most high fashion models are known for being curveless, which suits them as it does you! So play off your muscle tight figure and allow your legs to look a
mile high. Try them in a floral pattern to add a feminine flair! Example: Forever 21
When you're trying on...Do a FULL 360 turn! Look at your side and rear view, the front view can be deceiving. Nothing makes you want to walk off the face of the Earth like being asked if your pregnant when that’s not the case. So go, wear your high-waist bottoms in peace knowing that you're not in the "mom jean" zone!
